It’s the 30th year of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition! After tens of thousands of kids tried out at school level, over 2,000 kids competed in-person at a local final and then 160 made it through to the regional finals. After all of that, the top 10 speakers competed in this final at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre on Friday 24 November 2025. Each speaker presents a 4-minute prepared speech about multiculturalism and then a 2-minute impromptu with only 5 minutes of preparation.
Congratulations to this year’s finalists, this year’s competitors, and to everyone across the past 30 years who helped make this competition great by competing or volunteering their time to make it run. Best of luck for the next 30 years!
