International Jazz Day is held globally on 30 April every year. In 2019, a composition competition with James Morrison was held for NSW Public Schools students. The joint winners were Flynn Poppleton from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and Naomi Nogawa-Lewy from Summer Hill Public School! Their arrangements are now available for school bands to learn. Watch their performance at the Sydney Opera House and download the scores for your band!
