Film By the Hospital is a new festival the NSW Department of Education is piloting with Westmead Children’s Hospital.

In 2023, Film By will support the hospital school with workshops to allow every child to be engaged, and challenged and continue to learn as per the Department’s strategic goals.

The students who attend The Hospital School will participate in a full day workshop on Wednesday 2 August 9:00 am-3:30 pm. Students will become filmmakers for the day and will become film producers.

The Hospital School will showcase students' work towards the end of Term 3, 2023.
