 Film By the City 2024

The Film By the City festival, one of our longest-running Film By events, held its annual screening on Monday 28 October 2024, at Events George Street in Sydney city.

It was an evening filled with glitz, glamour, and extraordinary creativity. The audience was delighted by an exceptional lineup of short films created by students from Kindergarten through Year 8. Each film highlighted the remarkable talent, creativity, and storytelling skill of these young filmmakers. From the opening scene to the final credits, each story drew viewers in, showcasing a unique blend of originality and insight that kept them thoroughly engaged and wanting more.

Our heartfelt congratulations to all the students, teachers, and parents involved—your dedication and passion truly shone on the big screen. We eagerly anticipate the fresh and exciting films that next year’s festival will bring.
