Each year Film By the Eucalypts runs a gala day to support the teaching and learning for the students. This year the day was held on 22 June 2023. Students participated in editing, scriptwriting, acting, sound and green screen workshops. The day was a huge success, with students commenting that they learnt so much more about filmmaking and can't wait to submit their film next term. Scroll down to see some photos of the day! We welcome all feedback about the event and ask students to help us by completing a student survey.

Film By the Eucalypts supports schools in the Blue Mountains area.

A gala day supports the teaching and learning for the students. Students then work on their films, with all submissions due 10 October 2023.

Films can be submitted online, with the link coming soon. The film festival will be held on 9 November at the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub.

Films must adhere to the guidelines for Film By.
