As Film By the Eucalypts enters another year, the spirit of creativity and storytelling burns brighter than ever. Join in to support and celebrate the incredible talent of students in the Blue Mountains area, and beyond.

Film By the Eucalypts 2024

This year's Film By the Eucalypts festival was an absolute triumph! Held on 7 November 2024 at "The Hub" in Springwood, the event showcased an impressive lineup of films by young, talented students. Their dedication and imagination were evident in every frame, reflecting the unique perspectives and storytelling skills they’re developing. Seeing the students so proud of their work highlights just how impactful these platforms and events are for nurturing future filmmakers. Their accomplishments at the event will undoubtedly fuel their passion and confidence as they continue to grow. Here’s to celebrating this success and eagerly anticipating what they’ll bring to the screen next year!

 

Gala day

Each year, Film By the Eucalypts runs a gala day to support the teaching and learning for the students. In 2023, this was held on 22 June. Students participated in editing, scriptwriting, acting, sound and green screen workshops. The day was a huge success, with students commenting that they had learnt so much more about filmmaking and couldn't wait to submit their film. Scroll down to see some photos of the day!
