The NSW Arts Unit Drama Ensembles Festival
The NSW Arts Unit Drama Ensemble Festival celebrates classroom drama achievements of students in Kindergarten to Year 12. This event is a 2-day celebration of drama works showcasing strong drama outcomes in classrooms from across the state. Over 800 students participate in a range of dramatic styles.

The NSW Arts Unit Drama Ensembles Festival celebrates drama ensemble achievements. In 2024, the festival will take place on Friday 25 October, with students participating from across the state.

Seymour Centre, Chippendale
Tickets
Tickets will go on sale through the Seymour Centre website prior to the event.
Festival clothing
Festival t-shirts and hoodies will be made available to order in Term 3, 2024.
School nominations and items
This year we are pausing the annual Arts Unit Drama Festival. We are currently undergoing a consultation on drama to gather information on what schools most need to support access to drama opportunities for students and teachers. We will use this data to plan drama programs and opportunities that The Arts Unit provides in the future.
A showcase featuring The NSW Public School Arts Unit Drama Ensembles will still take place on the 25 October 2024.
