The booklists for 2026 will be updated in Term 1.
How do I get the books to read for the Challenge?
The PRC Team provides access to a list of approved books to read for the Challenge. Copies of these books can be found in libraries, bookstores, and personal collections. Speak to your PRC coordinator or teacher for help finding books to read as part of the challenge.
Series books – approved substitute books!
In an approved series, any 5 books from the series can be read as part of official PRC reading. Up to 10 other books from the same series can be read as personal choice books.

We'd love to hear your suggestions!
You can email your suggestions for the PRC booklists to PRC Team or complete the recommendation form to recommend a book for the PRC.
Information on our booklists is provided to help our readers source book titles. If publication details are incorrect, please advise the PRC Team by email to help us keep the lists up-to-date.
