Maitland Grossmann High School is located north of Newcastle on traditional Wonaruah land.

Bailey, a student at Maitland Grossmann High School, painted a self-portrait in the style of Vincent van Gogh.

This was created by taking a photo of Bailey and tracing it onto a canvas. Bailey then completed his artwork using acrylic paints and a brush technique comprised of long curved strokes.

Through creating his self-portrait, the student gained a deeper understanding of the artist.
