McCallums Hill Public School – Elements of Me
McCallums Hill Public School is located in Roselands, south-west Sydney, on traditional Bidjigal land.

Students at McCallums Hill Public School in 3–5R created wonderful artworks based on the theme 'This is Me'.
They looked at ways to express what made them unique: what phrases they say, things they like to eat and activities they like to do. Students used various art techniques, including painting, drawing, collage, multimedia and text, to express their ideas and creativity.
These artworks were also included in the ‘This Is Us! – Connections Showcase Exhibition’ at McCallums Hill Public School, where students, teachers and parents were invited to view and celebrate the 4 bodies of work submitted by the school in this year’s digital showcase.
This exhibition was held as part of Public Education Week 2024.

What did the teachers and students have to say?
- ‘It was great watching the students get excited when they would think of something else they could add to their artwork, an additional element of themselves they wanted to express.’ – Mrs Ristovski (teacher)
- ‘I like to eat pizza.’ – Domenic (student, 11 years old)
- ‘I love roads.’ - Zachariah (student, 9 years old)
